Courtyard 104 and Courtyard 105 are two small groups of residential units in Beijing, each comprised of three double-level studio-houses that share a public courtyard while retaining individual outdoor spaces. The exterior walls consist 70% grey-coloured bricks and 30% red bricks. The design specifies simple construction techniques that leave the materials exposed on the interior.
