Gaia Cambiaggi is a photographer and artist whose work explores architecture, cities, and artificial landscapes in relation to the communities that inhabit them. Trained at the Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti in Genoa and the London College of Communication, she has exhibited internationally at the Shenzhen–Hong Kong Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism, Experimenta – Lisbon Design Biennale, and the Venice Architecture Biennale. In Italy, her projects have been shown at the Triennale di Milano and the Istituto Centrale per la Grafica in Rome (with MAXXI), and have been commissioned by public and private institutions including the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan, Fondazione Feltrinelli, Fondazione Pistoletto, and Rizzoli. She is part of the collective Corpi Idrici, winner of the 2025 Perform Europe grant. Her photographs have appeared in The New York Times, The Guardian, Domus, Abitare, Monocle, Rolling Stone, and Vogue Italia.
